The easiest way to get to Matacawalevu Village is on the Awesome Adventure Catamaran which leaves Denarau Island (Nadi) jetty at 9.15am each day. The picturesque trip takes over four hours with the catamaran stopping in the clear waters off Nanuya Resort on Nanuya Lailai (Island). This is the catamaran's last stop before returning to Nadi. Ask the staff on the catamaran to point out the village boat - which takes you directly from the catamaran on the five minute trip to Matacawalevu Village where you will enjoy a traditional Fijian lunch on the beach with your hosts. The return trip to and from Denarau on the catamaran is F$235 per head.

The other option is to take a seaplane from near Nadi Airport at Wailoaloa beach. Turtle Airways take just 30 minutes to get to the sea off Matacawalevu - and a five minute boat ride to the village for your holidays in Fiji.
