The
Viseisei village tour:
On your arrival at Viseisei your host Tony Tavai, who speaks excellent English, will welcome you into his home.
Afterwards Miriama Tui (seen right), who speaks excellent English, will take you around the village of Viseisei and introduce you to villagers, show you the school, the community hall and the village green. You will also see the grave stones of important village chiefs located just metres away from bures (village houses).
The tour will take you through the historic village where the President of Fiji now has his home.
Some of the buildings and homes are grand and the equivalent of "millionaire's row" in Fijian terms.
Time: about 45 minutes
Free to guests.
A great way to see Nadi (image right) and the famous Garden of the Sleeping Giant. Minimum two people (ie F$160).
Cost: F$80 per person
The historic Vuda village tour.
This is an amazing opportunity to see where the first village, Vuda, was established in Fiji.
Cost: F$30 per person
